I spent Sunday admiring the beauty of nature. I drove up to Gambrill State Park just above Fredrick, MD to go hiking. While I am learning to enjoy my new life in the city, I truly miss the beauty of the natural world. There are miles and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails throughout the park. The trail I was on is not for the faint of heart when it comes to mountain biking. I was amazed to see the marks from the bikes as there were some really steep ascents and descents. There is one trail that is just under 27 miles long that I am hoping to take some friends backpacking on before it gets too humid.
