Feed the Birds, Tuppence a Bag

One of the volunteers at Nature Nurtures Farm is here on Oahu completing an internship at the Sea Life Park. She had no idea that her former boss, Nicole, was on island visiting. We surprised her at lunch the other day where she offered to give us a tour of her new job. While there we got to feed the birds. The birds were everywhere and had no boundaries.

Family Dinner Night

Tonight's family dinner night turned into a night of games and laughter. Brittany brought over a gaming system and the laughing didn't stop until about 0100. A delicious pho dinner made by Nicole (visiting from WA) started out the night and it ended with cards against humanity.

Dog-Sitting the Boys

With a couple friends out of town, I get to the pleasure of dog-sitting. And I love it!

 

I love spending time reading on my porch and watching the boys check out everyone (and EVERYTHING!) that passes by.

 

Three People, Two SUPs

Nicole, Brittany, and I went over to Kailua this afternoon to paddle and enjoy the water. I mean, who wouldn't want to play in the ocean in January...?

The interesting aspect was that we only had two paddle boards. It made our time in the ocean a bit challenging once we got out there. Once Brittany and I felt that we had our bearings, we repeatedly attempted to have the both of us standing on one board. It is safe to say that it was both hilarious and unsuccessful. But, we will try again (and get it on video to share with you.)
