Lanikai Pillbox with Lucy
I am thankful that friends "need" someone to watch their dogs once in a while. I've had Lucy for the last week or so. Today we hiked the Lanikai pillboxes. Every time I see her she is so excited to see me. I adore this little girl

The Welcome Home Gift
Whenever I house-sit, I like to leave a little something behind. For this event, I found a six or seven foot tall cardboard cutout firefighter being used as a Army Reserve recruiting campaign. While I don't see how that is supposed to recruit people, I was able to repurpose it as a welcome home gift for two friends. He was conveniently placed just inside their front door. I only wish I could have seen their reactions.
