A Weekend with Flat Stanley

With Flat Stanley in Kyle's front yard.
I just came back from a great weekend in a place that I am so blessed to call home. I spent the last four days in California's Santa Cruz Mountains with an amazing boy. That's right, Flat Stanley! Who wouldn't want to spend a weekend with him?!? We hung out around campfires with friends and family, took a walk on the beach, partied with friends in Santa Cruz, watched Pirates of the Caribbean on a sailboat, woke with the sun and not an alarm clock...an amazing weekend! Looking forward to many more!

Go Orioles!!!

Today Amy and I got to take Jennifer to her first Major League Baseball game! The weather was perfect sunny but still bundled in a sweatshirt. While the Orioles lost, we had a great time rooting for the home team and chowing down on some hot dogs in the 3rd inning. Cannot wait for our next game!!!

Army Navy Lacrosse Game

Go Army!!!! Jennifer took Amy Wilson and myself to the Army Navy Lacrosse game. It was so much fun!!! The weather was cold and raining for the first part but then the sun began to peak through. While the Army lost (again) it was a fun game to watch. The Cadets and Midshipmen all played really well. I had no idea how brutal the game can get. They hit really hard!!!
Thanks Jennifer!!!!

I Shaved Cleo

Cleo sheds like crazy! So I decided to shave her. My friend Amy came over to assist in the process. Cleo was not very excited about the event, but she tolerated it pretty well. (It took an hour and a half!!!) Cleo was pretty vocal throughout it all, but I think she likes her new hair-do. She seems like a kitten again at times.
