Army Specialist Rudolph R. Hizon, 22, of Los Angeles, CA was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Polk, LA. SPC Hizon died in Logar province, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device.
