Uncle Jim and Aunt Lynn took me to the Toledo MudHens game! On the way to the game Aunt Lynn took me to Tony Paco's (anyone getting the MASH reference?!?) for dinner. You have got to love a good hot dog on game day!
We wore our MudHen's gear and took a picture with MUDhona!
The ball boy just would not toss us the foul balls that came his way.
Trying to catch a glimpse of batting practice.
Two-eight was just too late to save the Clippers...GO MUDHENS!!!

Introduction to Birding
My introduction to Birding was awesome!!! Uncle Jim has been telling me about the Warblers since Easter and I finally got to see some! I saw a couple Yellow Rumped Warblers. The icing on the cake for me was the Ruby Crested Kinglet (picture from www.sunrisebirding.org). The red stripe on the top of his head is absolutely gorgeous!!!

OnCall Today
Today was yet another gorgeous day in the National Capital Area. The sun was shining and the weather was warm. A day like today only encourages my love affair with my bike! If only I could ride everyday!

Uncle Jim's Office
Today I got to tour my Uncle Jim's office. It was so much fun to get to see him in his element. His smile was contagious! Katherine and I got to look around one of the OR suites and "play" with the DaVinci machine used for surgery. Seriously, so fun!
"Playing" with DaVinci while learning from the master!

Easter in Ohio
This Easter was spent in the beautiful home of my Uncle Jim and Aunt Lynn in Ohio. I had an unexpected 4 days off and took full advantage of them as I took a quick flight to Ohio. Not only can I check another state off my list I had an absolutely perfect weekend with the comfort of family. We toured a bit of Toledo seeing museums and Lake Eire (my first Great Lake!). Aunt Lynn made an amazing Easter lunch that was easily one of the best meals I have had since returning home. An added bonus, Katherine had just moved back to the States from Honduras a few days before I got to Ohio and I was stoked to see her.
Thanks Burdine Family for an AMAZING Easter weekend!!!
