Welcome Mo
Becca got a cat. Yup, I now live with a cat. I never thought I would, but it is not as bad as I had anticipated. It is kind of nice coming home and having Mo run to the front door to greet me. Although I do not enjoy the biting of the toes and fingers that Mo seems to be so fond of, he is a really good cat.

A Color Hidden In Uniformity
Because Becca and I have to dress in "Army Green" like everyone we work with everyday, the color pink has become quite popular in our apartment. And yes, even on our toes. While we may not be able to show our colorful toes while working, atleast we know we are individuals in the midst of the "Army Green" uniformity.

Rappahancock River
I love camping! I had a couple days off so I borrowed my friend's dog (as she was out of town) and went camping on the Rappahancock River. It was great! There were very few people around so Diablo (the dog) and I ran around and played in the River. To my surprise Diablo is a pretty good swimmer. The weather was great, I even came back with a little color on my very white skin! The roar of the campfire at night, the lightening bugs flying around, and a dog snuggling next to you by the fire...it was a great weekend!
A picture of my tired camper after
a day of playing in the River!

Dogsitting
Becca is dogsitting for a co-worker at WRAMC. Sammie is a 7-month old golden retriever. She is really cute and well behaved. She is obsessed with my rats. She sits infront of their cage and whines to play with them. I was getting really tired of that so I moved the rats up onto the counter where Sammie cannot reach them. We will have Sammie until the 8th. While I love my rats, it is nice to have a dog around for a while to play with. There is something about taking a dog for a walk after a long day of work that just seems to make everything better.
