Went home for my cousin's wedding in CA and went for a run around the local field that I grew up playing soccer on. It used to look so much bigger!

And it was a treat to see the colors of fall. Oddly enough, don't really have that here.

Navy Commander Christopher E. Kalafut, 49, of Oceanside, CA, died at Al Udeid Air Base, Doha, Qatar, in a noncombat-related incident while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. He was assigned to Naval Amphibious Liaison Element, Combined Forces Air Component Center, U.S. Central Command.

Flooded

My washer broke and flooded my floor. Easy clean up for me, but a horrible mess for my neighbors downstairs. What a huge mess! (And I am moving out in two days, awkward...)

Marine Lance Corporal Sean P. Neal, 19, of Riverside, CA, died in Baghdad, Iraq, of noncombat-related causes while supporting Operation Inherent Resolve. LCpl Neal was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force-Crisis Response, which has a headquarters element based at Camp Pendleton, CA.
