Army Private First Class Keith M. Williams, 19, of Visalia, CA was assigned to 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, CO. PFC Williams died in Mirugol Kalay, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an improvised explosive device.

Gorgeous day to hike by the water. While climbing around the rocks, we found a small blow hole that was fun to explore.

Found this on my new unit here in Tripler Army Medical Center.

A piece of equipment from the old Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. This bed was used in the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) on Ward 40. A good chance I have taken care of patients who were admitted to that bed in DC.

First Oahu Bike Ride

Only made it 17.7 miles in an hour and twelve minutes, but it was beautiful! Started near Haleiwa and ended up past the Dillingham airport. The ride out was cake, the ride back however was against the wind (not so great).

After the ride I took a drive along the same route to get some pictures as I am still amazed by my new environment.
