And I Am Done

Today was my final shift in Madigan's ICU. Three years (minus 12 months deployed and 6 months admin work)... Ahem, one and a half years of ICU time at Madigan and it ended with me having to stay an extra 5 hours to cover as the unit was short staffed.

 

Starting Friday I will be on a long term loan to the recovery room (PACU) as that unit is very short staffed. Shorter work days, but more work days each week... Every weekend off... No night shift... This is sounding pretty good to me. At least until the next adventure begins.

Frozen Morning

A beautiful morning with freezing overnight temperatures accompanied with a light dusting of snow made for a nice start to a day off from the Army.

Upgrading the Truck

After two years of contemplation, I finally lifted the truck She looks great!

And I decided to get rid of the Retrax bed cover. Another decision that I have been toying with for the last 6-8 months.
