Honoring the California Fallen
Air Force Staff Sergeant Richard A. Dickson, 24, of Rancho Cordova, CA, was assigned to 306th Intelligence Squadron, Beale Air Force Base, CA. Ssgt Dickson died in the crash of an MC-12 aircraft near Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. Also killed in the incident were Brandon L. Cyr, of Woodbridge, Va.; Captian Reid K. Nishizuka, of Kailua, Hawaii; and Staff Sergeant Daniel N. Fannin. Friday, April 26, 2013
Moral High Ground
Today was a day of having to hold my tongue in an attempt to maintain the moral high ground. I am amazingly disappointed by the lack if integrity displayed throughout my place of work.
By no means am I perfect. I have never claimed to be. I will loudly proclaim that fact.
It is frustrating to work within an organization that claims to live by the Army values yet continues to demonstrate their inability to do so.

Hiking in New Mexico
Danielle and I went hiking this morning before she had to head into work and I had to fly back to SoCal. We took her two dogs with us. They ran up and down the trails like they owned them!

Slumber Party!
While in AFG Danielle and I would get to have movie nights on our "off" nights. It was rare that either one of us actually made it through to the end of the movie before we passed out on our improvised couch.
Danielle thought it would be fun to have a movie night here. And this time we had ice cream! It was awesome! And I am proud to announce that we made it through the movie without sleeping!

Dangerous with Caution Tape
If you give me caution tape and instructions to "put it wherever you want", you had better be prepared for me to do just that. Kristi's class is studying the life cycle of frogs and each student got to make a clay frog. Um, I cannot confirm or deny whether I placed a caution tape bow on Kristi's frog. Just ignore the picture. There is nothing to see in the picture.

Honoring the California Fallen
Army Specialist Delfin M. Santos, 24, of San Jose, CA, was assigned to 5th Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armor Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA. SPC Santos died in Kandahar, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered in a car bombing in Zabul, Afghanistan. Also killed were SPC Wilbel A. Robles-Santa and SSG. Christopher M. Ward.
